DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM FEBRUARY 21 TO 28, 1993 AS HORSERACING WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippines will be the host of the 23rd Asian Racing Conference scheduled from February 21 to 28, 1993;

WHEREAS, the 23rd Asian Racing Conference will be attended by more than five hundred (500) delegates from fourteen (14) member countries, as well as observers from the United States of America, United Kingdom, Qatar, South Africa, France, Vietnam and other countries; and

WHEREAS, it is imperative that the Filipino people, as host of the 23rd Asian Racing Conference, lend their full support and cooperation with the end that the traditional Filipino hospitality be brought to the force.ℒαwρhi৷

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from February 21 to 28, 1993 as Horseracing Week under the auspices of the 23rd Asian Racing Conference Executive Committees jointly chaired by Mrs. Antonia H. Reyes and Mr. Leopoldo L. Prieto, President of the Philippine Racing Club, Inc. and Manila Jockey Club, Inc., respectively.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
