EXTENDING THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE FILIPINO WAR VETERANS FOUNDATION (FILVETS), INC. UP TO SEPTEMBER 14, 1993

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 791 series of 1991, the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from September 14, 1991 to September 14, 1992;

WHEREAS, the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., needs additional time to enable it to raise more funds to attain its laudable goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national fund campaign period of the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., until September 14, 1993.

For this purpose, all donations, bequests, and gifts received by the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemption and deductibility benefits provided in the appropriate provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and its implementing rules and regulations.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
