DECLARING A STATE OF PUBLIC CALAMITY IN THE PROVINCES OF BATAAN, PANGASINAN, LA UNION, NUEVA VIZCAYA AND THE CITIES OF BAGUIO, DAGUPAN AND OLONGAPO WHICH WERE HEAVILY AFFECTED BY TROPICAL DEPRESSIONS “GLORING” AND “HUANING” AND TROPICAL STORM “ISING.”
Upon the recommendation of the Chairman of the National Disaster Coordinating Council, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare a state of public calamity in the provinces of Bataan, Pangasinan, La Union, Nueva Vizcaya and the Cities of Baguio, Dagupan and Olongapo which were all heavily affected by Tropical Depressions “Gloring” and “Huaning” and Tropical storm “Ising”.
All departments and other government agencies concerned are hereby directed to implement and execute relief and rehabilitation work in accordance with existing operational plans and directives and orders issued in connection with calamities.1aшphi1
