[ Proclamation No. 118, December 2, 1992 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4, 1992, ON THE OCCASION OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS.

WHEREAS, Friday, December 4, 1992, was set at the Sangguniang Kabataan General Election; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to give our youth full opportunity to participate in this election.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, and pursuant to the provisions of Executive Order No. 203 dated June 30, 1987, do hereby declare Friday, December 4, 1992, as a special day throughout the country on the occasion of the Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.

The various local government units throughout their respective Chief Local Executives shall extend all possible assistance and support to ensure the smooth conduct of the general elections.
