MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 797, September 11, 1991 ] DECLARING SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1991, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN ZAMBOANGA CITY. WHEREAS, the City of Zamboanga commemorates annually the traditional feast of its Patroness, the Nuestra Señora del Pilar on the twelfth day of October; WHEREAS, the residents of Zamboanga desire to celebrate the feast with fitting programs and activities; NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, October 12, 1991, as a special day in Zamboanga City.
