[ Proclamation No. 676, December 13, 1990 ]

CALLING THE CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO A SPECIAL SESSION

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Constitution, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby call the Congress of the Philippines to a special session on December 17 to 21, 1990 to consider the following measures:

(a) the bill liberalizing the investment activities of foreign investors;

(b) the bill increasing the forest charges on timber and other forest products;

(c) the bill in alien stay legalization program;

(d) the bill providing limitations in business deductions;

(e) the bill granting tax amnesty on all unpaid customs duties; and

other revenue measures, such as those agreed upon in the Budget Summit that are crucial for tax collection improvement as well as the Economic Stabilization Program.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
