[ Proclamation No. 645, September 13, 1990 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 1990, AS “PROVINCE OF SIQUIJOR DAY” IN SIQUIJOR

WHEREAS, Monday, September 17, 1990, will be the 19th anniversary of Siquijor as a Province;

WHEREAS, the residents of Siquijor desire to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, September 17, 1990, as Province of Siquijor Day” in Siquijor. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 13th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety.
