DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 2 TO 7 OF EVERY YEAR AS PHILIPPINE BUSINESS WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry is recognized as a voice of Philippine Business and representative of the private business sector in its relationship with the Government;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry serves as a forum for the development of a consensus of the business community on matters of economic and business significance;

WHEREAS, since its organization, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry has advocated greater participation of Filipino businessman in economic development;

WHEREAS, it is necessary to focus the attention of the nation to the progress that Philippine business has achieved;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from July 2 to 7 of every year as Philippine Business Week under the auspices of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
