MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 543, March 23, 1990 ] RESERVING FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES OF BARANGAY TUGASNON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALUBIJID, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL. Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to Section 18 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale and settlement and reserve for school site purposes of Barangay Tugasnon Elementary School a certain parcel of land of the public domain located in the Municipality of Alubijid, Misamis Oriental, containing an area of approximately Three (3.0) hectares, as shown and described in C.R. Map No. 385, which is more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point Corner “1” which is approximately S. 30 deg. E., 60 meters from Corner 15 of Project No. 18-A, Blk. I, Alien. or Disp. thence, N. 45 deg. E., 70 m. to corner 2; thence, N. 35 deg. E., 56 m. to corner 3; thence, DUE EAST, 126 m. to corner 4; thence, S. 36 deg. E., 70 m. to corner 5; thence, S. 46 deg. W., 224 m. to corner 6; thence, N. 40 deg. W., 140 m. to point of beginning. 1. The administration and management of the area covered by the reservation shall be under the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. For this purpose, a five-year development plan shall be submitted to the Office of the President of the Philippines by the Principal/Teacher-in-Charge of Barangay Tugasnon Elementary School within one (1) year from the approval hereof, furnishing the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Forest Management Bureau copies thereof; 2. The extraction and utilization of timber and other forest products remaining in the area shall be subject to Forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations; and 3. In the event that the area is no longer needed for the purpose stated, or its development has already been abandoned for a period of two (2) years, this proclamation is automatically withdrawn, revoked or cancelled and the subject area regains its original status as part and parcel of the forest land.
