EXTENDING THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE HEART FOUNDATION OF THE PHILIPPINES FROM MARCH 19, 1990 UP TO MARCH 19, 1991

WHEREAS, the Heart Foundation of the Philippines was authorized under Proclamation No. 386 dated March 13, 1989 to conduct a national educational, membership and fund campaign from March 19, 1989 to March 19, 1990;

WHEREAS, the humanitarian campaign of the Heart Foundation of the Philippines merits continued support to enable the Foundation to service a greater number of the poor and underprivileged who are suffering from heart disease and related ailments;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extent the national educational, membership and fund campaign period of the Heart Foundation of the Philippines from March 19, 1990 up to March 19, 1991.

I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines, regardless of race or creed, and corporations, institutions, and other enterprises, public or private, to support actively and give generously of their time and resources to this humanitarian endeavor.

For this purpose, all donations, bequest and gifts received by the Heart Foundation of the Philippines for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be free from all form of taxes and shall be deductible in full from the income of the donor for the purpose of computing his income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provisions of Section 94 (a) (3) and (b) (2) and 29 (h) (2) (c) (i) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended.

IN WITNESS HEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed hereto.ℒαwρhi৷
