MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 350, November 25, 1988 ] REVOKING PROCLAMATION NO. 1101, DATED JANUARY 16, 1973, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE LEYTE REGIONAL PRISON (LRP), AND REVERTING THE AREA SET ASIDE THEREFOR AND ITS PERMANENT FACILITIES THEREAT TO THE JURISDICTION AND CUSTODY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES. Upon the recommendation of the Director of Prisons and with the concurrence of the Secretary of Justice and the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby revoke Proclamation No. 1101, dated January 16, 1973, and revert the area of 861.60 hectares set aside for the Leyte Regional Prison and its permanent facilities thereat to the jurisdiction and custody of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
