DECLARING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 1988, AS “PROVINCE OF SAMAR DAY”

WHEREAS, Friday, November 11, 1988, marks the 21st charter anniversary of the Province of Samar; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the accomplishments and progress of the Province of Samar;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, November 11, 1988 as “Province of Samar Day,” a regular working and school day.
