DECLARING THE THIRD WEEK OF OCTOBER OF EVERY YEAR AS MECHANICAL ENGINEERING WEEK.

WHEREAS, the Mechanical Engineering Profession has contributed to the progress of the country;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers will hold its 36th National Convention in Cebu City on October 19 to 22, 1988; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to focus public attention on the important role the mechanical engineers play in the development of our country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the third week of October of every year as Mechanical Engineering Week under the auspices of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers.1aшphi1
