DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 1988, AS “GENERAL SANTOS CITY DAY”.

WHEREAS, the 20th Charter Anniversary of the City of General Santos falls on September 5, 1988; and and

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the residents of the City of General Santos be given ample opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, September 5, 1988, as “General Santos City Day”, a regular working and school day.
