[ Proclamation No. 273, June 20, 1988 ]

AUTHORIZING THE TEODORO F. VALENCIA FOUNDATION, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.

WHEREAS, the Teodoro F. Valencia Foundation, Inc., is a non-stock and non-profit organization, whose purpose is to engage in, initiate, stimulate, encourage, support, assist, contribute, undertake and finance exclusively educational, charitable, scientific, character building, youth and sports development, health, social welfare, and/or cultural activities; and

WHEREAS, in order to carry out the worthy objectives of the Foundation, it needs the support and cooperation of the public;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Teodoro F. Valencia Foundation, Inc., to conduct a national educational, membership and fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.1aшphi1

All gifts, bequests, donations and or contributions to the Foundation shall be governed by the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 507, dated July 16, 1974.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
