[ Proclamation No. 247, April 18, 1988 ]

AUTHORIZING THE BROTHERHOOD OF CARING SAMARITANS FOUNDATION INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.

WHEREAS, the Brotherhood of Caring Samaritans, Inc., is a non-stock, non-profit humanitarian organization devoted to carry on such charitable, humanitarian, relief and social services that will help relieve and alleviate the afflictions and miseries of people from all walks of life, particularly those who are poor and needy; and

WHEREAS, the Foundations various social-impact projects in selected areas all over the country deserves the wholehearted support of all segments of the community;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Brotherhood of Caring Samaritans, Inc., to conduct a national educational and fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the issuance of this Proclamation.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
