DECLARING MARCH 16, 1988, AS “ARAW NG DABAW” AND A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN DAVAO CITY.

WHEREAS, Wednesday, March 16, 1988, marks the 51st anniversary of the charter of the City of Davao; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of Davao City be given ample opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, March 16, 1988, as “Araw ng Dabaw” and a special holiday in Davao City.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
