[ Proclamation No. 215, February 10, 1988 ]

DECLARING FEBRUARY 11, 1988 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ANTIQUE

WHEREAS, the late Governor of Antique, Evelio B. Javier, died on February 11, 1986 in the pursuit of a dream to restore democracy in this country;

WHEREAS, the people of Antique, through their provincial officials, wish to be given the fullest opportunity to commemorate his second death anniversary with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare February 11, 1988 as a special day in the Province of Antique.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 10th day of February in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-eight.
