ESTABLISHING AS WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE OF A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SOUTH UPI, PROVINCE OF MAGUINDANAO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, PHILIPPINES .

Upon recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, entry and settlement and set aside as watershed forest reserve, subject to private rights, in there be any, and to the operations of previous proclamations reserving any portion thereof for specific purposes, a parcel of land located in the Municipality of South Upi, Province of Maguindanao, more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at point “1” on the BFD map W.R.-64 at 6º5228” latitude and 124º1046” longitude;

Thence following Lico-lico creek downstream in a general Southwest direction, 390 meters to corner 2, boulder 3 meters diameter, junction of lico-lico creek and a creek;

The Ministry of Natural Resources, thru the Bureau of Forest Development, shall administer and manage the reservation in coordination with other agencies of the government with the objective of maintaining its usefulness as a source of water for agriculture and other forestry purposes.
