DECLARING FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18, 1987, AS “GRACIANO LOPEZ JAENA SPECIAL DAY” IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOILO AND IN THE CITY OF ILOILO.

WHEREAS, Friday, December 18, 1987, marks the 131st birth anniversary of Graciano Lopez Jaena, hero, patriot, writer, and founder of the La Solidaridad; and

WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Iloilo should be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with fitting ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, December 18, 1987, as “GRACIANO LOPEZ JAENA SPECIAL DAY” in the city and province of Iloilo.1aшphi1
