[ Proclamation No. 171, October 16, 1987 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1987, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD.

WHEREAS, the 49th charter anniversary of the City of Bacolod falls on October 19, 1987; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of said city be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday October 19, 1987 as a special day in the City of Bacolod.
