[ Proclamation No. 162, September 30, 1987 ]

DECLARING OCTOBER, 1987 AS GOVERNMENT PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT MONTH

WHEREAS, a separate issuance has established the Government Productivity Improvement Program (GPIP) as a priority undertaking of the Government;

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus attention to the Government Productivity Improvement Program;

WHEREAS, in pursuance of the objectives of the Government Productivity Improvement Program, the Second National Convention on Productivity in the Public Service will be held on October 14 and 15, 1987;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare October, 1987 as Government Productivity Improvement Month.

Government offices, agencies and corporations are hereby enjoined to participate in the Second National Convention on Productivity in the Public Service to be held on October 14 and 15, 1987, in accordance with the guidelines thereon.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
