MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 155, September 18, 1987 ] ESTABLISHING AS SIOCON WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE FOR PURPOSES OF PROTECTING, MAINTAINING, OR IMPROVING ITS WATER YIELD AND PROVIDING RESTRAINING MECHANISM FOR IMPROPER FOREST EXPLOITATION AND LAND-USE, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIOCON, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, PHILIPPINES Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition or settlement and set aside for watershed and other ecological enhancement purposes, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of land of the public domain situated in the Municipality of Siocon, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, Island of Mindanao, as shown in the Bureau of Forest Development Map No. W.R.-69, with the following description: Beginning at a point marked “1” on BFD Map W.R. 69 identical to corner 235, Project No. 17, Block V, A or D, L.C. As such, cutting down of trees therein is hereby prohibited. The boundary of the watershed of the Siocon Watershed as described above shall be determined and established on the ground by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources thru its appropriate agency.
