[ Proclamation No. 152, September 14, 1987 ]

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 1987, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SIQUIJOR.

WHEREAS, Thursday, September 17, 1987, marks the political independence of the Province of Siquijor; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Siquijor should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, September 17, 1987, as a non-working special day in the Province of Siquijor.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
