[ Proclamation No. 121, June 22, 1987 ]

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 1987, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE.

WHEREAS, July 1, 1987, marks the 27th Charter Anniversary of the Province of Southern Leyte; and

WHEREAS, the residents in the said province should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their provinces history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, July 1, 1987, as a special public holiday in the Province of Southern Leyte.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
