MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 120, June 19, 1987 ] DECLARING AS WILDERNESS AREA RESERVATION CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN WITHIN THE TIMBER LICENSE AREA OF MONTE ALTO TIMBER RESOURCES CORPORATION LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF ECHAGUE AND SAN MARIANO, PROVINCE OF ISABELA. Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby set aside, withdraw from sale or settlement, close to any form of forest resource exploitation and reserve for wilderness area purposes, subject to recognized and valid rights, if any, certain parcels of land of the public domain situated in the Municipalities of Echague and San Mariano, Province of Isabela, and more particularly described as follows: PARCEL I “Beginning from corner 1, a point at the junction of Pinacauan de Ilagan River and Dimacama Creek, thence following Dimacama Creek upstream in a general southwest, southeast, northeast and southeast directions, about 3,200 meters straight (direct) distance to Corner 2, a point at the bank of Dimacama Creek; thence S88º W, 700 meters to Corner 3; a point on the ground, thence S71º W, 680 meters to Corner 3, a point on the ground; thence S84º W, 840 meters to Corner 5, a point on the ground; thence N39º W, 760 meters to Corner 6, a point on the ground; thence N31º W, 780 meters to Corner 7, a point of the ground; thence N09º W, 240 meters to Corner 8, a point on the ground; thence Due North, 640 meters to Corner 11, a point on the ground; thence N17º W, 460 meters to Corner 12, a point on the ground; thence S88º E, 800 meters to Corner 13, a point on the ground; thence N24º E, 420 meters to Corner 14, a point on the ground; thence N22º E, 500 meters to Corner 15, a point at the bank of Pinacanauan River; thence following the Pinacanauan de Ilagan River upstream in a general southeast and northeast directions about 1,100 meters straight (direct) distance to Corner 1, the point of beginning, containing an area of approximately 600 hectares.” PARCEL II “Beginning from corner 1, a point at the junction of Dicalabagin River and Dicabugi Creek, thence following Dicalabagin River upstream in a general southeast, southwest and southeast directions about 1,150 meters straight (direct) distance to Corner 2, a point at the junction of Dicalabagin River and Dolodol Creek; thence following Dicalabagin River upstream in a general southeast and southwest directions about 2,100 meters straight (direct) distance to Corner 3, a point at the bank of Dicalabagin River; thence N12º W, 200 meters to Corner 4, a point on the ground; thence Due West, 700 meters to Corner 5, a point on the ground; thence N72º W, 640 meters to Corner 6, a point at the bank of a creek; thence N40º W, 460 meters to Corner 7, a point on the ground; thence N41º W, 500 meters to Corner 11, a point on the ground; thence N60º E, 950 meters to Corner 12, a point at the bank of Dicalabagin River; thence following Dicalabagin River upstream in a general northeasterly direction about 700 meters straight (direct) distance to Corner 1, the point of beginning, containing an approximate area of 495 hectares.” IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.1aшphi1 DONE in the City of Manila, this 19th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-seven.
