[ Proclamation No. 113, May 5, 1987 ]
DECLARING AS CIVIL RESERVATION FOR THE NATIONAL MUSEUM BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH STATION SITE, THE 1.16 HECTARE PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN BARANGAY JAWILI, MUNICIPALITY OF TANGALAN, PROVINCE OF AKLAN.
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and pursuant to Section 18 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare as civil reservation for Biological Research Station Site of the National Museum, a parcel of land of the public domain located in the aforenamed barangay and municipality, shown in BFD Map CR 372, which parcel is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning from corner 1, which is N 10º W about 170 meters from F.Z. Cor. 140; A or D Project No. 10-A, per LC-2779;
Thence, N 80º W., 60 meters to corner 2;
Thence, S 85º W., 50 meters to corner 3;
Thence, S 64º W., 56 meters to corner 4;
Thence, N 50º W., 43 meters to corner 5;
Thence, N 48º E., 56 meters to corner 6;
Thence, N 60º E., 48 meters to corner 7;
Thence, N 65º E., 67 meters to corner 8;
Thence, N 70º E., 41 meters to corner 9;
Thence, N 06º E., 43 meters to corner 10;
Thence, S 15º E., 60 meters to corner 1,
the point of beginning, containing an area of one and 16/100 (1.16) hectares, more or less, subject to private right, if any there be, and to the following conditions:
1. The extraction and utilization of timber and other forest products remaining in the area shall be subject to forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations.
2. The administration and management of the area shall be under the National Museum, Department of Education, Culture and Sports.1aшphi1 For this purpose, a five year development plan shall be submitted to the Office of the President by the National Museum within one year from approval hereof, furnishing the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Bureau of Forest Development copies thereof.
3. In the event that the area is no longer needed for the purpose stated or its development has already been abandoned for a period of two years, this proclamation is automatically withdrawn, revoked or cancelled and the subject area shall regain its former status as part and parcel of forest lands.
