DECLARING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 1987 AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY THROUGHOUT THE PHILIPPINES
WHEREAS, on Monday, February 2, 1987 a plebiscite will be conducted on the proposed Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines;
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the people should be given the fullest opportunity to participate and vote in this important national political exercise;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, February 2, 1987 as a non-working special public holiday throughout the Philippines.1aшphi1
IN VIEW WHEREOF, I have set hereunto my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
