[ Proclamation No. 45, November 26, 1986 ]
DECLARING MONDAY, DECEMBER 1, 1986 AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY
WHEREAS, November 30, which is a holiday, Bonifacio Day, falls on a Sunday;
WHEREAS, under LOI 1087, when a legal holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall not be a holiday, unless a proclamation is issued declaring it a special public holiday.
WHEREAS, it is imperative that our people be given full opportunity to celebrate Bonifacio Day with fitting ceremonies.1aшphi1
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law do hereby declare Monday, December 1, 1986, as a nationwide non-working special public holiday.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
