[ Proclamation No. 2458, October 10, 1985 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 1985, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN.

WHEREAS, November 4, 1985 marks the 89th birth anniversary of the late President Carlos P. Garcia, an illustrious son of Bohol Province who became the President of the Philippines and the first President of the 1971 Constitutional Convention; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bohol and Tagbilaran City desire that they be afforded the opportunity to commemorate his natal day with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, November 4, 1985, as a non-working special public holiday in the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines, to be affixed.
