DECLARING MONDAY, AUGUST 19, 1985, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN QUEZON PROVINCE AND LUCENA CITY.
WHEREAS, the 107th birthday of the late President Manuel L. Quezon falls on Monday, August 19, 1985; and
WHEREAS, at least the people of his birthplace should be given full opportunity to render homage to the memory of our illustrious leader;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, August 19, 1985, as a non-working special public holiday in Quezon Province and Lucena City.
