DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 1985, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA AND IN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO.

WHEREAS, the 124th Birth Anniversary of our national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal, who was born in Calamba, Laguna, falls on Wednesday, June 19, 1985; and

WHEREAS, the people therein desire to celebrate the birth anniversary of our national hero with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, June 19, 1985, as a non-working special public holiday in the Province of Laguna and in the City of San Pablo.
