DECLARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 1984, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN.

WHEREAS, November 4, 1984, which falls on a Sunday, marks the 88th birth anniversary of the late President Carlos P. Garcia, an illustrious son of Bohol Province who became the President of the Philippines and the first President of the 1971 Constitutional Conventions; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bohol and Tagbilaran City desire that they be afforded the opportunity to commemorate his natal day with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, November 5, 1984, as a non-working special public holiday in the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran.1aшphi1
