DECLARING THE SECOND WEEK OF SEPTEMBER, 1984, AS DEVELOPMENT BANKERS WEEK.

WHEREAS, the Development Bankers Association of the Philippines plays a vital role in the agricultural and industrial development of the country;

WHEREAS, the development banking of the Philippines, as an instrument of growth, is a vital cog in the wheel of economic progress; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting that public attention be focused on the significant role of the development bankers in accelerating countryside progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the second week of September, 1984, as “Development Bankers Week” under the auspices of the Development Bankers Association of the Philippines (DBAP) and other involved agencies.
