DECLARING FEBRUARY 24, 1984, AS SPECIAL PUBLIC NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF CEBU

WHEREAS, February 24, 1984, marks the 47th Charter Day Anniversary of the City of Cebu; and

WHEREAS, the people of the City of Cebu should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare February 24, 1984, as special public non-working holiday in Cebu City.
