DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 1984, AS A WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MANDALUYONG, METRO MANILA

WHEREAS, February 9, 1984, marks the 39th Anniversary of the liberation of the municipality of Mandaluyong by the Mandaluyong guerillas and the American forces from the hands of the Japanese Imperial Army; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Mandaluyong desire to commemorate this historic event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, February 9, 1984, as a working special public holiday in the municipality of Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.
