PROCLAMATION NO. 2310

DECLARING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER AS NATIONAL YOUTH MONTH IN THE PHILIPPINES

WHEREAS, the United Nations has declared 1985 as International Youth Year by virtue of UN General Assembly Resolution No. 34/151;

WHEREAS, said resolution aims to promote increased participation of youth in all aspects of the social, economic, cultural and political life of their society;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare and ordain that the month of September of each year as National Youth Month in the Philippines and that appropriate measures be taken by government agencies and instrumentalities, as well as the private sector, to initiate youth-oriented projects during this period to highlight the rights and aspirations of the youth as integral parts of our country’s social, cultural, economic and political government, and to give the widest publicity to such activities.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
