PROCLAMATION NO. 2285

DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 16, 1983, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MARIKINA, METROPOLITAN MANILA.

WHEREAS, the 353rd anniversary of the creation of the Municipality of Marikina falls on Saturday, April 16, 1983; and

WHEREAS, the people of municipality of Marikina should be afforded the opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their town’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 16, 1983, as a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Marikina, Metropolitan Manila.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
