PROCLAMATION NO. 2273
EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 168, DATED OCTOBER 3, 1963, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE RECREATIONAL AND HEALTH RESORT RESERVATION SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GENERAL SANTOS, NOW GENERAL SANTOS CITY, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND DECLARING THE SAME OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT.
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary (now Minister) of Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 168 dated October 3, 1963, which established the recreational and health resort reservation situated in the Municipality of General Santos, now General Santos City, Island of Mindanao, certain portions of the land embraced therein and declare the same open to disposition under the provisions of the Public Land Act, which parcels of land are more particularly described as follows:
Lot Y-1, MR-1160-D
(Magsaysay Park)
A parcel of land (Lot Y-1, Mr-1160-D, Magsaysay Park) situated in the Municipality of General Santos, now general Santos City, Island of Mindanao. Bounded on the E., along line 1-2 by Lot Y, MR-1160-D; on the S., along line 2-3 by Sarangani Bay; on the W., along line 3-4 by Lot 1, Psu-133253 (S. Salazar); and on the N., along line 4-1 by Albert Morrow Boulevard.
Beginning at a point marked “1” of Lot Y-1, MR-1160-D, being S. 18-13 E., 6456-05 N. from Sarangani West Base, Dadiangas, General Santos;
thence S. 01-44 W., 93.22 m. to point 2;
thence N. 80-57 W., 257.00 m. to point 3;
thence N. 07-02 W., 52.15 m. to point 4;
thence N. 89-47 E., 263.00 m. to point 1;
point of beginning; containing an area of eighteen thousand six hundred and ninety five (18,695) square meters. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows; points 1 & 2 by P.S. Cyl. Conc. Mons., and the rest by the old P.L.S. Cyl. Conc. Mons.
Lot Y-2, MR-1160-D
(Magsaysay Park)
A parcel of land (Lot Y-2, MR-1160-D, Magsaysay Park) situated in the Municipality of General Santos, now General Santos City, Island of Mindanao. Bounded on the S., along lines 1-2-3 by Sarangani Bay; on the W., along lines 3-4 by Lot X MR-1160-D; on the N., along line 4-5 by Albert Morrow Boulevard; and on the NE., and E., along line 5-6-7-8-1 by Gallego Boulevard.
Beginning at a point marked “1” of Lot Y-2, MR-1160-D being south 20-35 E., 6682.40 m. from Sarangani West Base, Dadiangas, General Santos;
thence N. 78-19 W., 113.01 m. to point 2;
thence N. 89-27 W., 69.81 m. to point 3;
thence N. 00-41 W., 100.34 m. to point 4;
thence N. 89-47 E., 165.12 m. to point 5;
thence S. 60-39 E., 5.00 m. to point 6;
thence S. 41-18 E., 5.36 m. to point 7;
thence S. 21-31 E., 5.70 m. to point 8;
thence S. 04-21 E., 111.15 m. to point 1;
point of beginning; containing an area of eighteen thousand nine hundred and sixty three (18,963) square meters. All points referred to the indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: point 2 by X on the Cement; points 3 & 4 by P.S. Cyl. Conc. Mons.; points 8 & 9 by Stakes; and the rest by Old P.S. Cyl. Conc. Mons. Bearings true. These lots were surveyed in accordance with law and existing regulations promulgated thereunder by Alfredo Bugayao Geodetic Engineer, on December 31, 1977.
