PROCLAMATION NO. 2269
DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 1983, AS “GOVERNOR JUAN M. ALBERTO’S DAY” IN CATANDUANES.
WHEREAS, February 17, 1983, marks the birth anniversary of the late Gov. Juan M. Alberto, one of the most illustrious leaders and sons of Catanduanes; and
WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that the people of Catanduanes be given full opportunity to commemorate this occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, February 17, 1983, as “Gov. Juan M. Alberto’s Day” in Catanduanes. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
