PROCLAMATION NO. 2261

DECLARING SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 1983, AS “LIBERATION DAY” IN BIÑAN, LAGUNA.

WHEREAS, Saturday, February 5, 1983, marks the date when the Municipality of Biñan, Province of Laguna, was liberated from the Japanese Imperial Army; and

WHEREAS, the people of that municipality should be given full opportunity to celebrate this occasion with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, February 5, 1983, as “Liberation Day” in Biñan, Laguna.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
