PROCLAMATION NO. 2210

DECLARING SATURDAY, JUNE 19, 1982, AS A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA AND IN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO.

WHEREAS, the birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, our national hero, falls on Saturday, June 19, 1982;

WHEREAS, the people of Laguna desire to celebrate his birthday with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Saturday, June 19, 1982, as a special non-working public holiday in the Province of Laguna and in the City of San Pablo.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 14th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-two.
