BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

PROCLAMATION NO. 2160

RESERVING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN FOR THE PHILIPPINE TOURISM AUTHORITY FOR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES.

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of the Forest Reservation established under Proclamation No. 573 dated June 26, 1969 and reserve for tourism development purposes under the administration of the Philippine Tourism Authority subject to private rights, if any there be, that certain parcel of land of the public domain of the government located in Caliraya, Lumban, Laguna, which is more particularly described as follows:

“A parcel of land (portions of Lots 549, 551, 639, 587, 608, 592, 579, 442, 637, Lumban Cadastre) situated in Caliraya, Lumban, Laguna, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the N. by Caliraya Lake; on the E. by Lot 684; on the S. by national highway; on the W. by the Western boundary of Lot 549. Containing an area of SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND (600,000) SQUARE METERS, more or less, Subject to more precise survey.”

The Philippine Tourism Authority may not alienate or encumber the said parcel of land without the prior approval of the President of the Philippines. It shall develop the area for tourism purposes such as golf course, etc. consistent with its purpose and nature as forest reserve.

All proclamations and executive orders inconsistent herewith are amended accordingly.
