PROCLAMATION NO. 2149

DECLARING AS A CIVIL RESERVATION FOR THE RESETTLEMENT OF THE CULTURAL MINORITIES AND MUSLIM RETURNEES, THE PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN AS DESCRIBED ON BFD MAP CR-129, SITUATED IN KAPALONG, DAVAO DEL NORTE, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon recommendation of the Director of Forest Development, concurred in by the Minister of Natural Resources, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby set aside and declare as a civil reservation for the resettlement of the cultural minorities and the muslim returnees, subject to existing rights, if any there be, the parcel of land of the public domain, containing an aggregate area of 8,880 hectares more or less, situated in the municipality of Kapalong, Province of Davao del Norte, as shown and described on the Bureau of Forest Development Map No. CR-129, under the administration and control of the PANAMIN. The disposition of the timber and other forest products found therein shall be under the administration and control of the Bureau of Forest Development in accordance with the Forestry and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations.

There are excluded from the operation of this proclamation a strip of 15 meters in width on each side of any public trail therein used as outlet for timber and other forest products from the highest bank on each side of any stream for stream bank protection.ℒαwρhi৷

The area shall be reverted back to its previous status in the event that the development of the area covered thereby will not begin within five (5) years from the approval of the proclamation.
