PROCLAMATION NO. 2124

DECLARING MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1981, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN QUEZON CITY.

WHEREAS, the 42nd Foundation Anniversary of Quezon City falls on Monday, October 12, 1981; and

WHEREAS, the people therein desire to celebrate, with fitting ceremonies, this milestone in the history of their city;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare, Monday, October 12, 1981, as a special public holiday, but it shall be a regular working and school day.ᇈWᑭHIL

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
