PROCLAMATION NO. 2111

AUTHORIZING THE KAWAL AWARD FOUNDATION TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 1981 TO AUGUST 30, 1982.

WHEREAS, the Kawal Award Foundation aims to give public recognition to the vital role played by the soldiers in nation building and helps them alleviate the high cost of education through scholarship grants to deserving members of the family of the awardees; and

WHEREAS, this laudable objectives deserve financial and moral support of the government and private sectors;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Kawal Award Foundation to conduct a nationwide fund campaign during the period from September 1, 1981 to August 30, 1982.

I urge all citizens and residents of this country to give generously to the Foundation to enable it to realize its objectives.ᇈWᑭHIL

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
