PROCLAMATION NO. 2105

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19, 1981, AS MANUEL L. QUEZON DAY IN QUEZON CITY, LUCENA CITY AND QUEZON PROVINCE.

WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 19, 1981, marks the 103rd birth anniversary of the late President Manuel L. Quezon, one of the foremost leaders and statesmen the country ever produced; and

WHEREAS, it is proper that the residents of Quezon City, which is named after him, and the Province of Quezon, his birth place, be given opportunity to celebrate his birthday with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 19, 1981, as Quezon Day in Quezon City, Lucena City and the Province of Quezon.ᇈWᑭHIL

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
