PROCLAMATION NO. 2102

DECLARING JULY 28, 1981 AS THE PLEBISCITE DAY FOR THE RATIFICATION OF BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 128, CREATING BARANGAY PALOYON ORIENTAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NABUA, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Batas Pambansa Blg. 128, creating Barangay Paloyon Oriental in the municipality of Nabua, Province of Camarines Sur, it is a pre-requisite that the Barangay affected thereby should be consulted in a plebiscite to be conducted within 90 days from April 28, 1981, the date of the approval of said Act;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare July 28, 1981 as the plebiscite day in barangay Paloyon, Municipality of Nabua to decide the creation of Sitio Paloyon Oriental into a distinct and separate barangay of Nabua, Camarines Sur to be known as Barangay Paloyon Oriental.

The Commission on Elections shall supervise the plebiscite in the above-mentioned barangay in accordance with Section 4 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 128, and shall submit its report to the President of the Philippines within thirty (30) days from the date of the plebiscite.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
