PROCLAMATION NO. 2091

DECLARING FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 1981, AS DR. JOSE P. RIZAL’S DAY IN LAGUNA.

WHEREAS, the nineteenth of June marks the 120th birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, our national hero; and

WHEREAS, it is most fitting and proper to give the people of Laguna full opportunity to celebrate his natal day with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare June 19, 1981 as Dr. Jose P. Rizal Day in Laguna.ᇈWᑭHIL

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
