PROCLAMATION NO. 2083

DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM JUNE 1, 1981 TO MAY 31, 1982, FOR THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES.

WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines has more than amply demonstrated that it merits the continued moral encouragement and support of our people in its program of character building and citizenship training among the youth;

WHEREAS, the involvement of more youth and adults in the Scouting Movement for a better tomorrow requires the sustained and continuous support of every right thinking and civic minded citizen; and

WHEREAS, the yearly fund campaign of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines will once again afford us the opportunity of supporting such as worthy cause;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby designate the period from June 1, 1981 to May 31, 1982, for the Boy Scouts of the Philippines to conduct its Annual National Fund Campaign. I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines to assist in this campaign and to give it their unstinted support in order that it may able to continue with its youth citizenship training program.

IN WITNESS, WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
